    Bowling Ball Review - Hammer Black Widow Venom

    Core = Asymmetrical - Rg 2.520 intermediate, Differential = .060

    Cover stock = Reactive = Shine = Color = Black/Carmel

    Surface = Out of Box 4000 Abralon Polished

    The Hammer Black Widow Venom is a high differential, asymmetrical polished solid reactive, bowling ball.

    Conditions bowled on 42ft house pattern on wood lanes with guardian and Brunswick pro anvilane synthetic.

    Bowling Ball Drilling = Pin above bridge mass bias 1.5 inches off the thumb hole a 4inches over 1/2 up.

    Surface used I adjusted the surface with 2000 abralon..

    Type of bowler 250 rev rate 16 mph stroker.

    Test results the wood lanes had more back end than the pro anvilane. My intent was to have a solid reactive bowling ball with end over end roll somewhere in between the bite and pearl reaction with this drilling layout and bowling ball cover stock, also I wanted a more angular ball. I believe I achieved my goal. I did have a better reaction on the wood lanes do to the friction but my scores were great on both surfaces. This ball seems to be more predictable than the pearl but dose not hook as early as the bite.
